Physiotherapy for Kids & Teens

Our standard in-clinic appointment type for anyone from 1 - 18 years of age. Please select an initial assessment if this is your first time, or a follow-up session if you've played with us before.


Physiotherapy for Infants

These appointments are designed for babies from birth to 12 months of age. Please bring your baby in should you have any concerns with their developmental milestones. You can also book one of these appointments if you do not have any concerns, but are looking for guidance on how to support your infant in developing gross motor skills.


Physiotherapy for Concussion

These appointments are for concussion-related services including baseline testing, post-concussion assessment and treatment. Our clinic is associated with Complete Concussion Management Inc (CCMI).


Virtual Physiotherapy (Telerehabilitation)

These services are offered through a secure online platform from the comfort of your home. Please give us a call to book a complimentary consultation if you would prefer this appointment type but are not sure whether it is right for you.


Pediatric Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

If your child struggles with continence or pelvic floor dysfunction, these specialized appointments with our Pelvic Health physiotherapists can help. Be sure to book an Initial Assessment if you have not previously been seen by one of our physiotherapists for Pelvic Health concerns.

Nitin was born and raised in New Delhi, India and has been a pediatric physiotherapy practitioner since 2002. Nitin brings a wealth of knowledge to the Kids Physio Group team with extensive training and experience from India, Scotland, London and Ireland. Nitin completed his Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from Mangalore University (India) in 1999 and moved to the U.K. shortly thereafter to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma in Pediatrics and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2002 from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland. He also completed Post-Graduate and advanced studies in Pediatric NDT/Bobath from Bobath Centre in London (2006) for treatment of Cerebral Palsy and allied neurological conditions. Nitin completed level I CME in the Fall of 2011. Prior to moving to Surrey, British Columbia in 2009, Nitin worked in the U.K. for the National Health Service (Public Health Authority) as a community based senior pediatric physiotherapist for nearly five years treating children from birth to 19 years. Nitin joined the Kids Physio Group on a part-time basis in the first half of 2011. He became Partner of the new Surrey location in early 2013 and is excited to be bringing Kids Physio Group to such a vibrant and growing community! Emily grew up in Winnipeg, MB and stayed there to complete her two degrees. She finished her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Manitoba in 2014 and continued on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy in 2018. After graduating, Emily began working in a school division in Winnipeg with children with various developmental delays and fell in love with paediatric physiotherapy.

In Winnipeg, Emily worked at a private practice as well as with children in a school division. After working for two years, she felt that the prairies weren’t fitting her lifestyle enough and decided to make the big move to BC. Emily heard of Kids Physio Group while in her Masters program and knew that KPG is where she wanted to work. Thankfully, it worked out! Emily is currently treating kiddos in a full time capacity at our Surrey Kids Physio Group Location. She is dedicated to learning more about musculoskeletal injuries and treatment techniques for all ages, as well as growing her knowledge in paediatric physiotherapy.

Surekha has been passionate about working with children and helping them achieve their goals since her volunteer experiences in high school. She has volunteered with many pediatric populations, such as children with Autism and learning difficulties as well as athletes. Born and raised in Vancouver, she completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia. After which, she pursued her dream of becoming a physiotherapist and completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.

Surekha has hands on experience working with children with various conditions, such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, developmental delay and musculoskeletal conditions. Surekha is also dedicated to learning about the latest advances in the pediatric field, through further education and research, to provide the best care possible.

In her spare time, Surekha enjoys physical activity, including playing sports, hiking and going to the gym. She also loves spending time with family and friends, reading and baking.

Evelyn was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She always had a passion for working with kids and spent many years volunteering and working at different summer camps for children, including Pedalheads. Evelyn completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. During that time she began volunteering at Surrey Kids Physio where she was immediately drawn to the way the physios used games to make sessions fun for the kids. After volunteering for several years and working with some inspiring physiotherapists, she decided to pursue a career in pediatric physical therapy. In 2018, she moved to London, Ontario to complete her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University. While at school, she completed a placement working with children under the age of five, which confirmed her desire to work in pediatrics.

In the fall of 2020, Evelyn completed her program and moved back to BC. In her spare time, Evelyn enjoys hiking, running, swimming, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Parneet has been passionate about working with children from a young age when she volunteered at various summer camps throughout high school. She was raised right here in Surrey and completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. Following this, she moved to Toronto to chase her dream of becoming a physiotherapist and completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. She has been very lucky to have amazing placements where her passion of helping people reach their full potential grew! During one of her placements, she had the opportunity to work with preterm infants and their families to support their overall development. Laurissa was born and raised in Coquitlam and always knew she would want to work with kids one day. She has been involved in assisting at soccer camps, coaching skating, and coaching volleyball at the school and club levels. After completing her BA in Psychology at UBC, she started volunteering with Kids Physio, and it was through that experience that she found her passion, and entered into the Master of Physical Therapy program at UBC.

Laurissa is passionate about helping kids of all ages reach their full potential and making sure they have fun while doing it. She has experience working with a variety of conditions, including by not limited too, cerebral palsy, hypotonia, genetic conditions, developmental delay, gross motor delay, and infant feeding concerns. She is interested in continually expanding on her knowledge base through the taking of additional courses and research.
